The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. SAN PATRICIO's Ciriaco Acevedo suffered a concussion in the 8th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After a rather tough play, Kīlauea FC's Domingo Rocio got a free kick in the 9th minute. The audience was convinced that Eustaquio Mazuste's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florencio Larpe was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. After 16 played minutes SAN PATRICIO got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Ursino. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tobias Pitin during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eustaquio Mazuste received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Florencio Larpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Eustaquio Mazuste ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florencio Larpe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Eustaquio Mazuste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. SAN PATRICIO's 江榕剑 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Abaunza in the 40th minute of play. After 40 played minutes SAN PATRICIO got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Lehen. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Felix Abaunza made the kick off in the second half. Lorenzo Lehen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Mancio hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Kīlauea FC's Nicolas Silban got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kīlauea FC's Florencio Larpe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Kīlauea FC from getting a goal against them. If Eustaquio Mazuste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Florencio Larpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Bitxintxo in the 70th minute of play. Eustaquio Mazuste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Larpe having to interfere. 江榕剑 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Ramond in the 75th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Eustaquio Mazuste managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAN PATRICIO's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustaquio Mazuste was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florencio Larpe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Inocencio Ramond made a precise shot to the right of 江榕剑. SAN PATRICIO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Felix Abaunza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 江榕剑 having to make a save. In the 96th minute, Felix Abaunza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SAN PATRICIO were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Kīlauea FC to leave the ground with a draw.
