When Ricardo Montxo came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Islandia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Montxo couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Carbo getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Jorge Miro hit a great ball. With a little luck, Carbo's Moises Azevedo got control of the ball when Ricardo Montxo tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Carbo getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Nemesio Xacintu hit a great ball. Roque Orixe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. In the 81st minute, Modesto Nazario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 minutes Carbo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner.
