The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Severino Quintana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Concepción's Braulio Olando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Quintana in the 14th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Elvio Hori made a precise shot to the right of Braulio Olando. Concepción's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Irons United's Jonas Bordat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Irons United from getting a goal against them. Braulio Olando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Indar in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Nunez Ilazki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Irons United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 33 minutes of play, Irons United's Elvio Hori made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Braulio Olando was left in no man's land by his defense there! Braulio Olando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Ilazki in the 37th minute of play. In the 38thth minute of the game Benito Indar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Concepción's Braulio Olando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elvio Hori took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Braulio Olando. Braulio Olando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Concepción's Braulio Olando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Galeno in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benito Indar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benito Indar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Braulio Olando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Esteve Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Nunez Ilazki put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Braulio Olando. Emanuel Galeno hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 61st match minute, Irons United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Galeno to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Irons United's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Beltxe came free, but Jonas Bordat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 played minutes Irons United got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Bermund. It was beautiful to see Concepción's Ivan Rio in action when he in the 70th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 72nd minute, Pedro Cambranes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Concepción fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Nunez Ilazki got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Irons United's Benito Indar was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 80th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Benito Indar succeeded in the game's 85th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-8. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Elvio Hori managed to get in a good position for a shot. Irons United's supporters rose to their feet, but Elvio Hori was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Braulio Olando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute of the match, Benito Indar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Braulio Olando was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Elvio Hori got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
