But to his dismay, Christian Artal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, Ectopicos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Osmundo came free, but Flavio Jaen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 8th play minutes Christian Artal shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Flavio Jaen and just under the crossbar into goal. If Paolo Domeka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Jaen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Osmundo in the 14th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Bizi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Jaen was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 18th minute, Silvano Donzel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavio Jaen came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. River Plate's Christian Artal. But to his dismay, Christian Artal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The supporters of Ectopicos FC booed when C.A. River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Afonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Paolo Domeka notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Ectopicos FC's Flavio Jaen. Flavio Jaen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Flavio Jaen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Osmundo in the 34th minute of the match. If Christian Artal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Artal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Jaen having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Paolo Domeka managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Paolo Domeka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Jaen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvano Donzel kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ectopicos FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustavo Ongile made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Christian Artal fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Flavio Jaen, passed just outside the right post. 54 minutes into the match, Ectopicos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Artal came free, but Flavio Jaen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ectopicos FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Silvano Donzel hit a great ball. Matias Urtun charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matias Urtun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Christian Artal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 61 played minutes Ectopicos FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Donzel. With splendid footwork Christian Artal arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-6 by the left pole in the game's 63rd minute. In the 68th minute Christian Artal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Jaen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Osmundo might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Jaen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adrian Osmundo ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Christian Artal put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Flavio Jaen. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Christian Artal put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Flavio Jaen. In the 86th minute Christian Artal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Jaen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fausto Librado during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fausto Librado hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After 92 played minutes Ectopicos FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Donzel. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paolo Domeka in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Jaen saved Ectopicos FC from getting behind. When the match was over C.A. River Plate could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ectopicos FC throughout the match.
