That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. 27 minutes into the match, Team Benja 66's goalkeeper Fernan Burni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Venancio Artaldo. After a rather tough play, Trevor FC's Sixto Bixintxo got a free kick in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Maule in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernan Burni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Team Benja 66 getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Jairo Buinton hit a great ball. Trevor FC's Venancio Artaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernan Burni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Venancio Artaldo in the 38th minute. Team Benja 66's Fernan Burni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Maule in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivan Maule was the one to do the kick off. Lorenzo Cisco made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Sebastian Mendebal sent off a good shot on target. Team Benja 66's Fernan Burni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Artaldo in the 60th minute of play. 2-0 became the score in the 62nd minute when Ivan Maule elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Team Benja 66's zone, Ivan Maule stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernan Burni came out of the goal and Ivan Maule tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Trevor FC's Cristian Barros got a free kick in the 71st minute. Sebastian Mendebal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lorenzo Cisco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. After 78 played minutes Team Benja 66 got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Seguinus. Agustin Gomesano hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When Venancio Artaldo came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Trevor FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Venancio Artaldo couldn't finish the play. If Venancio Artaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venancio Artaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Burni having to interfere. Fernan Burni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Maule, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Team Benja 66's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Maule came free, but Fernan Burni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Ivan Maule managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trevor FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Maule was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernan Burni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernan Burni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Artaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Trevor FC fully deserved thier win.
