In the 22nd minute Marciano Gomesano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Pietro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafino Lehior took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zacarias Pietro. Zacarias Pietro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 28 minutes into the match, Purmamarca's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Rainerio came free, but Zacarias Pietro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauricio Salvidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Timoteo Bernal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 41 minutes, Marciano Gomesano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trelew's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marciano Gomesano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute Serafino Lehior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Pietro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mauricio Salvidor came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Purmamarca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauricio Salvidor couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Serafino Lehior made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Marciano Gomesano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Serafino Lehior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marciano Gomesano might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zacarias Pietro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marciano Gomesano ran back to his position shaking his head. Marciano Gomesano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zacarias Pietro made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Marciano Gomesano sent off a good shot on target. If Remigio Taurino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Trelew's zone, Remigio Taurino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timoteo Bernal came out of the goal and Remigio Taurino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute, Mauricio Salvidor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Trelew booed when Purmamarca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Lartaun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Purmamarca's Zacarias Pietro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Lehior in the 89th minute of play. Zacarias Pietro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafino Lehior in the 98th minute of the match. Trelew's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
