One of Time tranqui:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Red Hot Chili Peppers:s goal. Juhani Pihlainen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Aureo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florencio Lico charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florencio Lico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36 played minutes Time tranqui got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Lico. Honorato Etxepare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxen Cassano, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maxen Cassano in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorato Etxepare saved Time tranqui from getting behind. Feliciano Vimaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Honorato Etxepare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Time tranqui defense, Maxen Cassano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Honorato Etxepare. The Time tranqui fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Honorato Etxepare should have stopped the shot. Feliciano Vimaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
