Cristobal Betadur came out of the goal and Timoteo Ponc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Silverio Bordat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ivan Ivienen FC's goalkeeper Cristobal Betadur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Urbano Montrel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Baladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristobal Betadur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Chale in the 25th minute of play. Cristobal Betadur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silverio Bordat in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute Faustino Chale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Betadur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 minutes, Orlando Oto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ivan Ivienen FC and the Lileo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Silverio Bordat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Betadur having to interfere. Ivan Ivienen FC's Cristobal Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Chale in the 38th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Baladi notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Lileo AFC's Urbano Montrel. Urbano Montrel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Faustino Chale was the one to do the kick off. In the 78th minute, Faustino Chale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonzalo Baladi in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urbano Montrel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
