Cristobal Betadur came out of the goal and Gaston Jesco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rosendo Francis walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 96th minute of the match, Oscar Bertol tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cristobal Betadur saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cabana had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
