After having played for 12 minutes, Baldomiro Rami managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ragnarok's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomiro Rami was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amberes FC's Marcial Salomone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Barrionuevo in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Rami in the 22nd minute of play forced Amberes FC's goalkeeper Marcial Salomone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Baldomiro Rami's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcial Salomone was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Baldomiro Rami managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ragnarok's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomiro Rami was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Salomone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benedicto Cuarto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Benigno Joachim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Amberes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Jaizki came free, but Marcial Salomone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Amberes FC's Epifanio Ibar got a free kick in the 41st minute. Ragnarok's Roque Alfonso couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Amberes FC. In the 47th match minute, Ragnarok was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Alfonso to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erasmo Xabel was the one to do the kick off. Erasmo Xabel took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benigno Joachim. Benigno Joachim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Benedicto Cuarto scored 2-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benigno Joachim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Baldomiro Rami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ragnarok's Ivan Guerau got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Segundo Vigil hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Marcial Salomone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomiro Rami's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benedicto Cuarto during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Amberes FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Benedicto Cuarto hit a great ball. Benigno Joachim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Xabel, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. With a little luck, Amberes FC's Marcial Salomone got control of the ball when Baldomiro Rami tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Amberes FC defense, Elpidio Barrionuevo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcial Salomone. The Amberes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcial Salomone should have stopped the shot. Ivan Guerau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute.
