Spectators: 7222 (Terracing: 5418, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Simon Enekoitz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 5 minutes into the match, F.C. Varrilete Cosmico's goalkeeper Simon Enekoitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedicto Cuarto. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Rosendo Lop sped through Amberes FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcial Salomone. Simon Enekoitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedicto Cuarto in the 11th minute. Benedicto Cuarto took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simon Enekoitz. Simon Enekoitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Amberes FC's Marcial Salomone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Lop in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute Rosendo Lop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Salomone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute Remigio Venerando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Salomone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Salomone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rosendo Lop's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. When Epifanio Ibar fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amberes FC's protests and gave Epifanio Ibar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Epifanio Ibar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Amberes FC's goalkeeper Marcial Salomone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Segundo Vigil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Simon Enekoitz made a huge save. Marcial Salomone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Lop in the 40th minute of play. After 45 minutes of play, F.C. Varrilete Cosmico's Rosendo Lop made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcial Salomone was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rosendo Lop to make the kick off. Atilano Hondo's late challenge caught a Amberes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atilano Hondo helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Amberes FC a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pedro Boniel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of F.C. Varrilete Cosmico's Simon Enekoitz. 2-2. When Epifanio Ibar was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 56 minutes had been played. A collision led to Amberes FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Epifanio Ibar hit a great ball. Pedro Boniel tried in the 60th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Marcial Salomone a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-3. In the 64th minute, F.C. Varrilete Cosmico's Rosendo Lop ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcial Salomone. Marcial Salomone yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Cuarto in the 69th minute of play forced F.C. Varrilete Cosmico's goalkeeper Simon Enekoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Amberes FC's Segundo Vigil got a free kick in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, Amberes FC's Benedicto Cuarto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simon Enekoitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79th match minute, Amberes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Vigil to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, F.C. Varrilete Cosmico's Atilano Hondo tried to score from far away in the 79th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rosendo Lop recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcial Salomone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Lop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, F.C. Varrilete Cosmico's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Xabel came free, but Simon Enekoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 played minutes Amberes FC got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Bide. In the 95th minute, Remigio Venerando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcial Salomone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remigio Venerando in the 97th minute. The F.C. Varrilete Cosmico supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing F.C. Varrilete Cosmico would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
