The supporters of Amberes FC booed when La Moroneta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Iraitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erasmo Xabel to strike the kick off in the second half. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Marcial Salomone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcial Salomone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Etor, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Isidoro Etor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amberes FC's Pedro Boniel couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 89th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for La Moroneta. In the 90th match minute, La Moroneta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Bermund to maneuver through the defense. Benedicto Cuarto succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 94th playminute.
