Oscar Mosen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Xabel in the 16th minute of play. Benedicto Cuarto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Oscar Mosen made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Procopio in the 23rd minute of play forced Amberes FC's goalkeeper Marcial Salomone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedicto Cuarto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erasmo Xabel had several of the Pepe Lui's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 28 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Oscar Mosen as he didn't even see the shot coming. 33 minutes into the match, Amberes FC's Erasmo Xabel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oscar Mosen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Segundo Vigil scored 2-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oscar Mosen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Marcial Salomone managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Pepe Lui's Javier Orain fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Benedicto Cuarto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Mosen having to interfere. Erasmo Xabel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amberes FC's Marcial Salomone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Procopio in the 94th minute of play. Ciriaco Procopio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Salomone having to interfere.
