The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Puyel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Urtzi should have stopped the shot. Iker Gonchan struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Ramon Rios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puyel. A hard shot 24 in the game by Iker Gonchan from a close distance when the talented Ramon Rios managed to make a qualified save. Unión's players were relieved. With a little luck, Unión's Ramon Rios got control of the ball when Iker Gonchan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Puyel's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Romeo Laurin made the kick off in the second half. Victorio Gombal charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorio Gombal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Puyel's Victorio Gombal got a free kick in the 54th minute.
