The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anastasio Kaiet during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dario Chuan struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Jimeno Jaume didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Masía. Dario Chuan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jimeno Jaume read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, La Masía's David Cibran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jimeno Jaume made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Faustino Jerardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moises Jacob fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Maule having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Faustino Jerardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los del Parque's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustino Jerardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lisandro Maule breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Jacob stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 71 played minutes Los del Parque got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Cordarin. Lisandro Maule showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Jerardo in the 75th minute of the match. After having played for 77 minutes, Faustino Jerardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los del Parque's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustino Jerardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
