After a rather tough play, Atracadores FC's Damian Aguilera got a free kick in the 39th minute. Romeo Laurin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Atracadores FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Laurin came free, but Aristides Tiniebra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iker Gonchans short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Aristides Tiniebra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romeo Laurin made a kick off. Aristides Tiniebra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Laurin in the 51st minute of play. Damian Aguilera's late challenge caught a Puyel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Aguilera helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Atracadores FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Damian Aguilera hit a great ball. Albino Criston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the game, Emanuel Valente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Puyel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atracadores FC the free kick. Puyel's Gustavo Urtzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Puyel from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute, Romeo Laurin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Atracadores FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Miguel Checa hit a great ball. Damian Aguilera got his second yellow card in the match during the 68th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 69th minute, Damian Aguilera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Puyel getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Marcelino Lizbeth hit a great ball. Iker Gonchan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Artemio Ranolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After having played for 79 minutes, Marcelino Lizbeth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puyel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelino Lizbeth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romeo Laurin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aristides Tiniebra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Gonchan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iker Gonchan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Tiniebra having to interfere. Puyel's Iker Gonchan got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Romeo Laurin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iker Gonchan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Tiniebra having to interfere. Puyel's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
