Paulo Matxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Ponciano in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to Unidad General Deheza getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Bonifacio Jokin hit a great ball. After 14 played minutes Cienaguilla got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Kismi. 18 minutes into the match, Unidad General Deheza's goalkeeper Paulo Matxin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodoro George. Luciano Janpier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anastasio Bernabel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Omar Naldo having to make a save. In the 26th minute, Anastasio Bernabel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Unidad General Deheza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Janpier in the 29th minute of play forced Cienaguilla's goalkeeper Omar Naldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramiro Rosario during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Unidad General Deheza booed when Cienaguilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Rosario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Guillelmus struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Omar Naldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unidad General Deheza. After a rather tough play, Cienaguilla's Natalio Astudillo got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Omar Naldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasio Bernabel in the 45th minute of the match. In the 48th minute Anibal Ponciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Matxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Unidad General Deheza were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Anibal Ponciano made the kick off in the second half. Cienaguilla's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Natalio Astudillo in the 53rd minute. The corner ended in Natalio Rioja almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Unidad General Deheza's Paulo Matxin did a great save. Anibal Ponciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Cienaguilla's Omar Naldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Cienaguilla from getting a goal against them. When Ramiro Rosario was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. A collision led to Cienaguilla getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ramiro Rosario hit a great ball. Luciano Janpier received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Omar Naldo came out and tried to block the shot, but Luciano Janpier slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 70th minute. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Anastasio Bernabel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Luciano Janpier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Unidad General Deheza could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cienaguilla throughout the match.
