Spectators: 7217 (Terracing: 5415, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 142) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vicente Cordaro took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Armindo's goalkeeper Gabriel Frasco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horacio Jaunzuria during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jockey Club Villa Maria's Horacio Jaunzuria got a free kick in the 7th minute. Jonas Goi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Frasco having to interfere. Gaston Jaunzuria who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Gabriel Frasco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edgard Berenguer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Osvaldo Raulo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Berenguer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vicente Cordaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Frasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Vicente Cordaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Frasco having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaston Jaunzuria got free with Gabriel Frasco in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th match minute, Armindo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Acuña to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Frasco made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Gaston Jaunzuria sent off a good shot on target. In the 48th minute, Horacio Jaunzuria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgard Berenguer was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Jockey Club Villa Maria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Goi to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute, Desiderio Tipi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Jockey Club Villa Maria's Osvaldo Raulo didn't even have to move. Fabricio Nerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Osvaldo Raulo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nunez Gregory charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nunez Gregory the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd match minute, Jockey Club Villa Maria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Gregory to maneuver through the defense. Jockey Club Villa Maria's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Edgard Berenguer scored to the left of an out of position Osvaldo Raulo, making the score, 0-2. In the 68th minute of the match Desiderio Tipi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osvaldo Raulo skillfully saved the ball. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Fabricio Nerio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Armindo's Edgard Berenguer got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Edgard Berenguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 92 minutes, Edgard Berenguer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Armindo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Berenguer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgard Berenguer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Armindo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jockey Club Villa Maria.
