Unidad General Deheza's Paulo Matxin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Moise in the 29th minute of play. When Anastasio Bernabel came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Unidad General Deheza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasio Bernabel couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Unidad General Deheza's Anastasio Bernabel got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Unidad General Deheza's Hugo Guillelmus dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Nicolas Urritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anastasio Bernabel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Rodolfo Salbatore when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nicolas Urritz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Matxin having to make a save.
