Raimundo Serafo's late challenge caught a Quebrachito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raimundo Serafo helped the player get up and apologised. After 6 played minutes Margarita got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Serafo. Rodolfo Salbatore was a little too slow when Pastor Lander got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Margarita's zone, Guaberto Frans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Salbatore came out of the goal and Guaberto Frans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Quebrachito! After some careless play in the Margarita defense, Orlando Urko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodolfo Salbatore. The Margarita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Salbatore should have stopped the shot. Orlando Urko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Quebrachito's Orlando Urko dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carmelo Moise made a kick off. Guaberto Frans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venancio Urdaspal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Salbatore read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Guaberto Frans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodolfo Salbatore was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. After 59 minutes of play, Quebrachito's Orlando Urko made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodolfo Salbatore was left in no man's land by his defense there! Guaberto Frans took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodolfo Salbatore. Rodolfo Salbatore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After having played for 67 minutes, Guaberto Frans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rodolfo Chinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Moise in the 97th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Quebrachito fully deserved thier win.
