Spectators: 7177 (Terracing: 5385, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 3rd minute, Vicente Cordaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jockey Club Villa Maria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Vicente Cordaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Matxin having to interfere. Luciano Janpier was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. Unidad General Deheza's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 11 played minutes Jockey Club Villa Maria got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Goi. Luciano Janpier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Osvaldo Raulo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anastasio Bernabel in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Unidad General Deheza's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Cordaro came free, but Paulo Matxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luciano Janpier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Osvaldo Raulo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Vicente Cordaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jockey Club Villa Maria's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Cordaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Matxin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vicente Cordaro took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Matxin. Paulo Matxin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 33 minutes into the match, Unidad General Deheza's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Cordaro came free, but Paulo Matxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaston Jaunzuria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Matxin having to make a save. Paulo Matxin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vicente Cordaro's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Anastasio Bernabel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Unidad General Deheza booed when Jockey Club Villa Maria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Jaunzuria didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Anastasio Bernabel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Unidad General Deheza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The Unidad General Deheza players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jockey Club Villa Maria were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luciano Janpier was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Vicente Cordaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Matxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luciano Janpier struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Osvaldo Raulo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unidad General Deheza. Anastasio Bernabel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Raulo having to interfere. Nemesio Rosario hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Gaston Jaunzuria's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Paulo Matxin firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 77th minute Anastasio Bernabel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Raulo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Anastasio Bernabel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Matxin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Cordaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Vicente Cordaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Paulo Matxin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gaston Jaunzuria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 95 played minutes Unidad General Deheza got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Guillelmus.
