Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cornelio Timo kicked off to start the match. Joaquin Ler charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquin Ler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rigoberto Quirce kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Rogelio Bihar was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Natalio Astudillo. 8 minutes into the game, Teodoro George cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Rogelio Bihar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Niceto Montrelle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cornelio Timo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Naldo having to interfere. Teodoro George fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Bihar having to interfere. Natalio Astudillo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anibal Ponciano to strike the kick off in the second half. Teodoro George fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Bihar having to interfere. Rogelio Bihar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro George, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Anibal Ponciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Bihar having to interfere. Cienaguilla's Omar Naldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Timo in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of Intersport FC booed when Cienaguilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Egun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cornelio Timo in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omar Naldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Intersport FC booed when Cienaguilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Kismi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niceto Montrelle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niceto Montrelle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Omar Naldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After 83 minutes, Cornelio Timo made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cienaguilla's Omar Naldo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cornelio Timo might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Omar Naldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cornelio Timo ran back to his position shaking his head. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
