Spectators: 6653 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vicente Cordaro kicked off to start the match. Osvaldo Raulo came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cienaguilla's Teodoro George. But to his dismay, Teodoro George quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Anibal Ponciano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaston Jaunzuria struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Omar Naldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jockey Club Villa Maria. Jockey Club Villa Maria's Vicente Cordaro got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Anibal Ponciano fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Osvaldo Raulo, passed just outside the right post. 21 minutes into the match, Anibal Ponciano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Osvaldo Raulo, 2-0. Vicente Cordaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Naldo having to interfere. Cienaguilla's Teodoro George got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the game, Jockey Club Villa Maria's Vicente Cordaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Omar Naldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Teodoro George got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jonas Goi's late challenge caught a Cienaguilla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Goi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Jockey Club Villa Maria getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Jonas Goi hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Teodoro George managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cienaguilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodoro George was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Raulo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Teodoro George who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jockey Club Villa Maria's Osvaldo Raulo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Anibal Ponciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaston Jaunzuria's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Omar Naldo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 64th minute, Severino Egun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubaldo Arnau didn't quite understand what happened when in the 66 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Ponciano in the 69th minute of play forced Jockey Club Villa Maria's goalkeeper Osvaldo Raulo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
