Timoteo Cordeal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Fermin Dolcet made a huge save. In the 10th match minute, La Vencedora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Orain to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 12 minutes, Leo Tohias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Vencedora's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Tohias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felipe Rufo, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 25 minutes into the match, La Vencedora's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Cresconio came free, but Fermin Dolcet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timoteo Cordeal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fermin Dolcet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match Matias Reyes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristo Montay skillfully saved the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leo Tohias to strike the kick off in the second half. The attack was good, but when Leo Tohias in the 55th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Bengolea AFC's Cristo Montay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Bengolea AFC from getting a goal against them. After 60 played minutes Bengolea AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Modestio. Fermin Dolcet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Bengolea AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
