The tension between the Concoran AFC and the Deportivo Los Grossos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Concoran AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Cordarryl to maneuver through the defense. Deportivo Los Grossos's Aristides Garin got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Domingo Perez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Garin, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute Arnulfo Maore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Berenguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deportivo Los Grossos's Leon Camerino got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute Ciriaco Chuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Berenguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Berenguer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Gabon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gervasio Gabon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gervasio Gabon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Honorio Gasteiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Maore in the 29th minute of play forced Deportivo Los Grossos's goalkeeper Benjamin Berenguer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Columbo kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Gervasio Gabon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Berenguer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Gervasio Gabon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnulfo Maore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Benjamin Berenguer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnulfo Maore stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Santos Palos notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Deportivo Los Grossos's Benjamin Berenguer. Benjamin Berenguer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Concoran AFC's Arnulfo Maore slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benjamin Berenguer. That made the score 0-3 after 60 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnulfo Maore in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Berenguer saved Deportivo Los Grossos from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Arnulfo Maore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Concoran AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnulfo Maore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Berenguer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnulfo Maore in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamin Berenguer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Leon Camerino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Concoran AFC defense, Aristides Garin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domingo Perez. The Concoran AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domingo Perez should have stopped the shot. 87 minutes into the match, Gervasio Gabon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamin Berenguer. Deportivo Los Grossos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gervasio Gabon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. 90 minutes into the match, Deportivo Los Grossos's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Maore came free, but Benjamin Berenguer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Deportivo Los Grossos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Gasteiz to maneuver through the defense. Deportivo Los Grossos's Benjamin Berenguer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Maore in the 95th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gervasio Gabon got free with Benjamin Berenguer in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Concoran AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Deportivo Los Grossos throughout the match.
