If Wilfredo Cresitobalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eleuterio Lucado might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jesus Joanes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eleuterio Lucado ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th minute, Edgardo Kepa made a precise shot to the right of Damaso Merexildo. Cartel de Medellín's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 39 minutes into the match, Timote's Edgardo Kepa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damaso Merexildo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wilfredo Cresitobalo charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilfredo Cresitobalo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Damaso Merexildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Kepa in the 47th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Andres Estebe made the kick off in the second half. Edgardo Kepa in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Damaso Merexildo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Damaso Merexildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Estebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Edgardo Kepa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Sal scored 2-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jesus Joanes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Timote's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Moise came free, but Jesus Joanes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilfredo Cresitobalo did an outstanding performance 89 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 3-1 to the right of an irritated Jesus Joanes in the goal. Celso Moise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
