Melchor Playo charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Laureano Iraitz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Anacleto Benvido. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Andres Estebe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Timote's supporters rose to their feet, but Andres Estebe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laureano Iraitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laureano Iraitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andres Estebe in the 41st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lázaro Tabor during the 43rd minute.
