With a couple of smart ball manuevers Epifanio Frederico in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fermin Dolcet saved La Vencedora from getting behind. Epifanio Frederico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Epifanio Frederico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Dolcet having to interfere. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Vencedora's goalkeeper Fermin Dolcet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fermin Dolcet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Frederico, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After some careless play in the La Vencedora defense, Epifanio Frederico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fermin Dolcet. The La Vencedora fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fermin Dolcet should have stopped the shot. Fermin Dolcet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Frederico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fermin Dolcet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Peli in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Edgard Peli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fermin Dolcet. La Vencedora's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgard Peli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 38 minutes into the game, Jeremias Micael was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chicos de la angustia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Vencedora the free kick. In the 38th minute, Jeremias Micael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaac Quintan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Dominic having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in La Vencedora's zone, Edgard Peli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fermin Dolcet came out of the goal and Edgard Peli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leo Tohias to make the kick off. Edgard Peli struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Fermin Dolcet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chicos de la angustia FC. Edgard Peli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teofilo Dominic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Quintan, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, one of Chicos de la angustia FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chicos de la angustia FC. In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for La Vencedora. Blas Dubardo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Teofilo Dominic. 1-2. After having played for 66 minutes, Edgard Peli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chicos de la angustia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Peli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Chicos de la angustia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Quintan came free, but Teofilo Dominic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of La Vencedora booed when Chicos de la angustia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Cloyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaac Quintan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Dominic having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fidel Orain during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fermin Dolcet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Frederico in the 81st minute of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chicos de la angustia FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
