Spectators: 7244 (Terracing: 5434, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aristides Garin started the match with the kick off. In the 6th match minute, Timote was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Tabor to maneuver through the defense. Jesus Joanes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Isidoro Columbo. Aristides Garin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jesus Joanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eduardo Navarro fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Los Grossos's protests and gave Eduardo Navarro a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Deportivo Los Grossos got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Navarro. After 21 minutes, Anacleto Benvido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Timote and the Deportivo Los Grossos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Timote's Anacleto Benvido got a free kick in the 21st minute. After recieving a nice pass, Deportivo Los Grossos's Isidoro Columbo tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Anacleto Benvido was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 26 minutes had been played. After a defensive mix-up in Timote's zone, Leon Camerino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesus Joanes came out of the goal and Leon Camerino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgardo Kepa got in the 32nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Benjamin Berenguer handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Edgardo Kepa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute, Lázaro Tabor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgardo Kepa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgardo Kepa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Edgardo Kepa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Timote's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Kepa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgardo Kepa in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benjamin Berenguer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ricardo Sadurni charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardo Sadurni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Timote:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Deportivo Los Grossos:s goal. In the 63rd minute, Paolo Mark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Sadurni was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 64th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 66th minute, Edgardo Kepa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Timote fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Edgardo Kepa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Benjamin Berenguer made a huge save. When Jonathan Gabrio came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Timote fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Gabrio couldn't finish the play. If Leon Camerino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Camerino in the 79th minute of play forced Timote's goalkeeper Jesus Joanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesus Joanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Garin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lázaro Tabor hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Deportivo Los Grossos's goalkeeper Benjamin Berenguer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgardo Kepa. Edgardo Kepa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesus Joanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Camerino in the 98th minute of play. 99 minutes into the match, Deportivo Los Grossos's goalkeeper Benjamin Berenguer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgardo Kepa. The Timote players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
