Deportivo Los Grossos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Muppets FC the free kick. The supporters of Muppets FC booed when Deportivo Los Grossos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Gasteiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Joaquin Frasquito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muppets FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquin Frasquito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Berenguer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26thth minute of the game Adrian Soin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Los Grossos's Benjamin Berenguer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute Aristides Garin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo George saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 32 minutes, Aristides Garin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Los Grossos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Garin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aristides Garin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo George having to interfere. Benjamin Berenguer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquin Frasquito in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aristides Garin was the one to do the kick off. Aristides Garin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aristides Garin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carolo George having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leon Camerino got free with Carolo George in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benjamin Berenguer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Soin, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 68thth minute of the game Aristides Garin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Muppets FC's Carolo George was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benjamin Berenguer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Frasquito in the 70th minute of play. Aristides Garin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Carolo George tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Soin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Berenguer having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Los Grossos's zone, Joaquin Frasquito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Berenguer came out of the goal and Joaquin Frasquito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Los Grossos's goalkeeper Benjamin Berenguer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adrian Soin took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benjamin Berenguer. Benjamin Berenguer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Adrian Soin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Camerino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
