With a little luck, Muñoz's Sebastian Matia got control of the ball when Aurelio Vergaray tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Muñoz's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bruno Sedeni was slow to take the kick. During this time Macapillo FC's players had a chance to rest. Sebastian Matia made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Aurelio Vergaray sent off a good shot on target. Aurelio Vergaray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celso Calvino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sebastian Matia came out and tried to block the shot, but Celso Calvino slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 44th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celso Calvino was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Macapillo FC booed when Muñoz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Loi didn't get a good kick on the ball.
