Gerardo Confesor came out of the goal and Robustiano Rosario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Futbol 5 booed when Lehmann was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Quinten didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Andres Honesto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Jonathan Gabrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 55 minutes Lehmann's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Enrique Gauargi who took care of the corner kick. When Zacarias Cesaro came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Lehmann fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zacarias Cesaro couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Futbol 5 getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Gilberto Ritchie hit a great ball. Angelo Orlo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Gabrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerardo Confesor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarias Cesaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When Hector Henry fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lehmann's protests and gave Hector Henry a yellow card for diving instead. Andres Honesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Orlo having to interfere. A collision led to Lehmann getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Gaston Mikeldi hit a great ball. Angelo Orlo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Gabrio in the 98th minute of the match. The Lehmann supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lehmann would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
