Spectators: 7105 (Terracing: 5385, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 70) C.A.Independiente's Gabriel Oton started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Isaias Orain took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zacarias Baristo. C.A.Independiente's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zacarias Cesaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Zacarias Baristo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eloy Maurino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Baristo having to interfere. Lehmann's Eloy Maurino got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Aquiles Xabel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C.A.Independiente's David Gumaro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lehmann. 22 minutes into the game, Claudio Quinten was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lehmann's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A.Independiente the free kick. In the 22nd match minute, Lehmann was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Quinten to maneuver through the defense. When Hector Henry fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lehmann's protests and gave Hector Henry a yellow card for diving instead. Hector Henry hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute of the match David Gumaro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelo Orlo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Angelo Orlo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin Montez's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Benjamin Montez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gabriel Oton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Orlo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Oton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Zacarias Cesaro made the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Montez in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Angelo Orlo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Zacarias Baristo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Cesaro in the 59th minute of the match. Benjamin Montez struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Angelo Orlo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.Independiente. Benjamin Montez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Angelo Orlo made a huge save. C.A.Independiente's Zacarias Baristo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Cesaro in the 67th minute of play. Angelo Orlo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Oton, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Benjamin Montez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelo Orlo having to make a save. Angelo Orlo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Oton in the 87th minute of play. Zacarias Cesaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eloy Maurino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo Orlo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin Montez in the 96th minute. After having played for 97 minutes, Gabriel Oton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Oton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
