Godofredo Presebal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Mikelar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Everardo Marz got a free kick in the 40th minute. Prospero Tabb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Pancho having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvano Cristofol made a kick off. Silvano Cristofol was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 55th minute. Racing Club's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ildefonso Fonda took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Patricio Pancho. Racing Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Kelemen in the 61st minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Patricio Pancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prospero Tabb in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patricio Pancho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 65 minutes into the match, Deportivo Alejandría F.C's Prospero Tabb sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patricio Pancho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bonifacio Bermund hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Raul Etxepare, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal.
