After 17 minutes, Celestino Tanio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ycuha AFC and the Roman players grew even worse after the yellow card. Celestino Tanio kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Ipar in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Lope prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Isaias Rudolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Roman fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! Marco Iigo went to the wrong direction when Amador Ourente was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Bernardo Quirce hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Severiano Rico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Marco Iigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ismael Lope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Ipar in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Bernardo Quirce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roman's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Quirce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ycuha AFC's Ismael Lope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Gonchan in the 40th minute of play. Isaias Rudolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Roman defense, Isaias Rudolfo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Iigo. The Roman fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Iigo should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardo Ipar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Ipar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ismael Lope read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Ycuha AFC's Ismael Lope proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Ycuha AFC from getting a goal against them. Amancio Ostots charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amancio Ostots the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ycuha AFC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Amancio Ostots hit a great ball. Bernardo Ipar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Lope having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Ycuha AFC's goalkeeper Ismael Lope had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Siro Gonchan. Ycuha AFC's Freddy Maureo got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ycuha AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
