He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Ruben Janpier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marciano Garaile succeeded in the game's 40th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. If Marciano Garaile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marciano Garaile scored 1-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celedonio Servando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The supporters of Nagoya Grampus Eight booed when BOCA JUNIORS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Ereinotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Segundo Lluc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
