Florida's Lino Guerau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Valery in the 41st minute of play. Aquiles Naelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Eliazar in the 46th minute of play. After 48 minutes of play, Florida's Anier Arnas made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aquiles Naelio was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Vieja Escuela Fc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Florida were winning 0-3.

Florida's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vieja Escuela Fc the free kick. In the 71st match minute, Florida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anier Arnas to maneuver through the defense.
