After 23 played minutes BOCA JUNIORS got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Ereinotz. Freddy Farias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BOCA JUNIORS's Bernardo Chorache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Farias in the 28th minute of play. Conrado Estebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Bernardo Chorache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freddy Farias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddy Farias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marciano Garaile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Rafael Bartoleme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marciano Garaile stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Janpier in the 53rd minute of play forced Leitium FC's goalkeeper Rafael Bartoleme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BOCA JUNIORS's supporters rose to their feet, but Marciano Garaile was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Bartoleme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Bernardo Chorache managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Leitium FC's Conrado Estebe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 80th minute Freddy Farias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Chorache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conrado Estebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Leitium FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for BOCA JUNIORS.
