After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Placido Conrao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romero FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Placido Conrao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Chorache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th minute, Ricardo Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saturnino Teodor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Chorache having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Garaile in the 16th minute of play forced Romero FC's goalkeeper Juan Piorno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Placido Conrao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Bernardo Chorache made a huge save. When Placido Conrao came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Romero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Placido Conrao couldn't finish the play. Adolfo Elorri charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adolfo Elorri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adolfo Elorri kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Placido Conrao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Saturnino Teodor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eriberto Teodor scored 1-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Chorache, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Placido Conrao's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Chorache was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. A collision led to BOCA JUNIORS getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Arnoldo Ereinotz hit a great ball. Marciano Garaile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Juan Piorno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Romero FC's Saturnino Teodor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Chorache narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guillermo Mitxaut took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bernardo Chorache. BOCA JUNIORS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Romero FC's goalkeeper Juan Piorno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruben Janpier. Marciano Garaile fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Piorno having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Saturnino Teodor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
