The referee gave Niupi Futbol Club a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filomeno Franco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Niupi Futbol Club's Santo Perico got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samuel Gabirel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Modesto Gonzo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 95 minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
