After having played for 15 minutes, Celedonio Camerino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antinaco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celedonio Camerino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Camerino in the 18th minute of play forced Independiente Rivadavia's goalkeeper Cristobal Maule to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Ellande made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Arsenio Argider sent off a good shot on target. Celedonio Camerino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Camerino in the 28th minute of play forced Independiente Rivadavia's goalkeeper Cristobal Maule to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pastor Santxol during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Antinaco booed when Independiente Rivadavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Santxol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pastor Santxol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Ellande having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Antinaco's Celedonio Camerino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristobal Maule narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Donato Rosalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Rosalio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute of the match, Celedonio Camerino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cristobal Maule saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 82nd minute, Celedonio Camerino fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cristobal Maule, passed just outside the right post. Cristobal Maule came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Antinaco's Donato Rosalio. But to his dismay, Donato Rosalio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Antinaco supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Antinaco would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
