Filomeno Franco came out of the goal and Teofilo Derwin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Teofilo Derwin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carabelas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Derwin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Defensores de la Birra FC's Filomeno Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Bidari in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Cleto Asier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores de la Birra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cleto Asier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teofilo Derwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 played minutes Defensores de la Birra FC got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Sanduru. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Leo Bidari took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Filomeno Franco to make any attempt to save it. In the 41st minute, Cleto Asier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teofilo Derwin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Filomeno Franco made a huge save. Leo Bidari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leo Bidari to make the kick off. Cleto Asier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Umea having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teofilo Derwin in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filomeno Franco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Bidari in the 94th minute of play forced Defensores de la Birra FC's goalkeeper Filomeno Franco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carabelas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
