Spectators: 7143 (Terracing: 5391, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Leo Bidari made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th match minute, Carabelas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Remicio to maneuver through the defense. After 6 played minutes, Independiente Rivadavia's Bonifacio Nataniel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Silverio Umea came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Independiente Rivadavia reached it. After a rather tough play, Carabelas's Candido Remicio got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Pastor Santxol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristobal Maule took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Bidari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Leo Bidari reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cristobal Maule. The goal made the score 1-0. After having played for 25 minutes, Teofilo Derwin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carabelas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Derwin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Carabelas booed when Independiente Rivadavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Santio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pastor Santxol in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silverio Umea saved Carabelas from getting behind. In the 41st minute, Pastor Santxol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arsenio Argider hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pastor Santxol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raimundo Hanni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arsenio Argider took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silverio Umea. Silverio Umea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Cristobal Maule came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Carabelas's Teofilo Derwin. But to his dismay, Teofilo Derwin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Independiente Rivadavia's Pastor Santxol in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carabelas's goalie prevented a goal. Raimundo Hanni charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raimundo Hanni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 played minutes Carabelas got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Hanni. 72 minutes into the match, Carabelas's goalkeeper Silverio Umea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arsenio Argider. Lino Nuñez hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Cristobal Maule made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Derwin in the 83rd minute of play. Teofilo Derwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teofilo Derwin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Cristobal Maule tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Carabelas's Teofilo Derwin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristobal Maule made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. If Leo Bidari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saturnino Vidal hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Carabelas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Independiente Rivadavia for a fine match.
