Spectators: 7258 (Terracing: 5478, Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leo Bidari took the kick off in the first half of the match. Silverio Umea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Vigil in the 3rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blas Bikendi in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silverio Umea saved Carabelas from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Leo Bidari got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Vladimiro Vigil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 16 minutes, Leo Bidari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carabelas and the INDEPENDIENTE players grew even worse after the yellow card. Blas Bikendi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 22 minutes of play, INDEPENDIENTE's Vladimiro Vigil made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silverio Umea was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, INDEPENDIENTE's Carolo Gaizko got a free kick in the 24th minute. Ulises Dacio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 25th minute, took the ball on the long shot from German Salbatore. A collision led to INDEPENDIENTE getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jonatan Berasko hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Carabelas's German Salbatore tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Silverio Umea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Bikendi in the 30th minute of play. Carabelas's Silverio Umea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Vigil in the 31st minute of play. If Blas Bikendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vladimiro Vigil took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silverio Umea. Silverio Umea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Silverio Umea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Vigil in the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute Vladimiro Vigil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Umea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of INDEPENDIENTE booed when Carabelas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Gaztea didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Emiliano Bero from long distance, 53 minutes into the match, got Silverio Umea's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Vladimiro Vigil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Silverio Umea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimiro Vigil might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silverio Umea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vladimiro Vigil ran back to his position shaking his head. 67 minutes into the match, Vladimiro Vigil dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Silverio Umea, 0-4. In the 71st minute, Benigno Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute, Blas Bikendi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The INDEPENDIENTE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. When Blas Bikendi came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the INDEPENDIENTE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blas Bikendi couldn't finish the play. Jonatan Berasko kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. INDEPENDIENTE's Emiliano Bero shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 89th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Silverio Umea but with some difficulty. 89 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Irrintzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carabelas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave INDEPENDIENTE the free kick. INDEPENDIENTE made a substitution. Armando Teyo replaced Anibal Pero. A collision led to Carabelas getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Reynaldo Irrintzi hit a great ball. Carabelas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Emiliano Gorri scored to the left of an out of position Silverio Umea, making the score, 0-6. The Carabelas fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. INDEPENDIENTE were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
