After a rather tough play, Kaiken FC's Aaron Brun got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermengildo Paio in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulino Galoer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8th minute Hermengildo Paio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Galoer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulino Galoer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulino Galoer came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Kaiken FC's Hermengildo Paio. But to his dismay, Hermengildo Paio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Paulino Galoer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Paio in the 16th minute of the match. Kaiken FC's Fernando Pedroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Dantel in the 19th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aaron Brun in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Galoer saved Deportivo Merlo from getting behind. After having played for 28 minutes, Rene Inocente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kaiken FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rene Inocente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Kaiken FC booed when Deportivo Merlo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Salomone didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Christian Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deportivo Merlo's Paulino Galoer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Brun in the 35th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Aaron Brun put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Paulino Galoer. Hermengildo Paio struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Paulino Galoer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kaiken FC. 45 minutes into the match, Kaiken FC's goalkeeper Fernando Pedroso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaspar Natal. 47 minutes into the match, Gaspar Natal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernando Pedroso. Kaiken FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaspar Natal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The Deportivo Merlo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kaiken FC were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hermengildo Paio to make the kick off. Christian Fernandez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Paulino Galoer skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fabian Salomone charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabian Salomone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aaron Brun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Galoer having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Hermengildo Paio took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Paulino Galoer to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Paio in the 85th minute of play forced Deportivo Merlo's goalkeeper Paulino Galoer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Aaron Brun, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 89 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Paulino Galoer was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Salomone in the 93rd minute of play forced Kaiken FC's goalkeeper Fernando Pedroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Chorche hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Paulino Galoer acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 98th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Hermengildo Paio. The Deportivo Merlo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kaiken FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
