If Teodoro Gorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Cuerpo sin órganos getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Joel Erlantz hit a great ball. Fernando Rosalio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saverio Ponce having to make a save. Paulo Kiliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute, Fernando Rosalio made a precise shot to the right of Saverio Ponce. Cuerpo sin órganos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Antonio Barto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Kiliz's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Kiliz in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonio Barto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute, Teodoro Gorri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A Gimnasia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 22nd minute of the game, Jorge Garcia landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Narciso Vito during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cuerpo sin órganos getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Narciso Vito hit a great ball. C.A Gimnasia's Teodoro Gorri got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulo Kiliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Barto having to interfere. When Florentino Berriotxoa came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Cuerpo sin órganos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florentino Berriotxoa couldn't finish the play. C.A Gimnasia's Antonio Barto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save C.A Gimnasia from getting a goal against them. After having played for 49 minutes, Florentino Berriotxoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuerpo sin órganos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florentino Berriotxoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodoro Gorri to make the kick off. C.A Gimnasia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valentin Vito in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Cuerpo sin órganos's goalkeeper Saverio Ponce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodoro Gorri. Antonio Barto came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cuerpo sin órganos's Paulo Kiliz. But to his dismay, Paulo Kiliz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro Gorri got free with Saverio Ponce in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Cuerpo sin órganos's Leonel Furtado got a free kick in the 78th minute. Antonio Barto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Berriotxoa in the 82nd minute of play. In the 89th minute Joel Erlantz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Barto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A Gimnasia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
