When Serafin Ignatius fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Boedo's protests and gave Serafin Ignatius a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes Club Atlético Boedo got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Ignatius. Fabricio Leoiar struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Leonides Loreto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Boedo. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santo Arixo to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicanor Muno during the 52nd minute. Leonides Loreto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Boedo's Hector Bartoli got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The supporters of Club Atlético Boedo booed when Boedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Olentzaro didn't get a good kick on the ball.
