Saverio Ponce was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in El Reino Olvidado's zone, Florentino Berriotxoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Azevedo came out of the goal and Florentino Berriotxoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnaldo Rumaldo might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saverio Ponce. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnaldo Rumaldo ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnaldo Rumaldo to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Natalio Ramirez got free with Saverio Ponce in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 61 played minutes Cuerpo sin órganos got a freekick which was hit by Joel Erlantz. Natalio Ramirez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Saverio Ponce made a huge save. El Reino Olvidado's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
