The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 5 minutes, Igor Larpe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sinquil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Larpe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Igor Larpe struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Samuel Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sinquil. 9 minutes into the match, Isidro Reynardo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Federico Rios, 1-0. After 15 minutes of play, El Reino Olvidado's Natalio Ramirez made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Federico Rios was left in no man's land by his defense there! Natalio Ramirez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Federico Rios made a huge save. A collision led to El Reino Olvidado getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Natalio Ramirez hit a great ball. Arnaldo Rumaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Isidro Reynardo could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Federico Rios however easily saved by the left post. Sinquil's Federico Rios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Rumaldo in the 29th minute of play. Federico Rios made an important save on a dangerous shot by Natalio Ramirez in the 33rd minute. After having played for 34 minutes, Angelino Ricart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sinquil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelino Ricart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelino Ricart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sinquil's Igor Larpe got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Igor Larpe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Angelino Ricart came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Sinquil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelino Ricart couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Angelino Ricart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sinquil's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelino Ricart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 47 minutes into the match, El Reino Olvidado's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Larpe came free, but Samuel Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Larpe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelino Ricart to make the kick off. In the 54th play minute Igor Larpe came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Samuel Azevedo. 2-2. If Angelino Ricart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Natalio Ramirez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Federico Rios was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Federico Rios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Ramirez in the 66th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Isidro Reynardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Rios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Rios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Rumaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. If Angelino Ricart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Federico Rios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Rumaldo in the 96th minute of the match. Sinquil's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because El Reino Olvidado had won, even though Sinquil had held more of the ball.
