Spectators: 6664 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Esteve Iliana made the kick off which started today's match. Jacinto Saturnin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patricio Porfiro in the 4th minute. Jacinto Saturnin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fernando Bertin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Adrian Urti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fiorentina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Urti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodoro Otsoko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteve Iliana in the 15th minute of play. Teodoro Otsoko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Iliana in the 16th minute of the match. Patricio Porfiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacinto Saturnin having to make a save. In the 20thth minute of the game Fernando Bertin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fiorentina's Jacinto Saturnin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Esteve Iliana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teodoro Otsoko having to make a save. Teodoro Otsoko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adrian Urti went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 32nd play minute Patricio Porfiro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jacinto Saturnin. 2-1. When Adrian Urti came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Fiorentina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Urti couldn't finish the play. Fernando Bertin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Bertin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fiorentina's goalkeeper Jacinto Saturnin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Bertin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Humberto Santiago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Teodoro Otsoko made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Fiorentina's zone, Patricio Porfiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Saturnin came out of the goal and Patricio Porfiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teodoro Otsoko was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Esteve Iliana capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Esteve Iliana really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Fiorentina's Esteve Iliana was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 60th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Fiorentina's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Enrique Bernaldo in the 65th minute. Adrian Urti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Teodoro Otsoko made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Empedrado's zone, Adrian Urti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Otsoko came out of the goal and Adrian Urti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando Bertin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacinto Saturnin having to make a save. 80 minutes into the match, Empedrado's goalkeeper Teodoro Otsoko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Urti. 81 minutes into the game, Epifanio Montrell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Empedrado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fiorentina the free kick. Esteve Iliana struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Teodoro Otsoko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fiorentina. After a defensive mix-up in Empedrado's zone, Adrian Urti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Otsoko came out of the goal and Adrian Urti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Esteve Iliana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fiorentina's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteve Iliana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodoro Otsoko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fiorentina played a much better game than Empedrado and deserved their victory. The Empedrado players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
